The archaeological Routes of Lesbos were developed in response to the desire of both islandvisitors and locals to understand more about the ancient sites and the routes that may betaken to explore them.The routes are organized according to three criteria: chronological, geographic, andthematic. The fundamental objective of the geographical routes, in particular, was to enableone day-long exploration of the historic sites along each route.Select one of the three classification criteria for the routes (chronological, geographic, orthematic), and then enjoy the journey through time and the history of Lesbos.
